Sina Companies was founded by Malcolm Sina to service a niche market in healthcare real estate, just as its predecessor DASCO Companies. After selling his company DASCO (a leading national healthcare development company) to a large, international public construction company, he examined the marketplace and realized there were ample opportunities for a nimble, entrepreneurial development company that can be keenly responsive to the healthcare provider’s needs. The opportunity to continue to service the development needs of the healthcare community, especially those of our previous clients, led to the formation of Sina Companies.
During our time in the healthcare industry, the executives of Sina Companies have developed over 5.0 million square feet of healthcare properties and acquired another 1.5 million square feet, representing projects in over 25 states. Although our focus has been on the healthcare industry for the past 28 years, the principals also have commercial office, retail, and hotel project experience representing over 4.5 million square feet.
We have tailored our company and philosophy to be flexible with quick decision making to best serve our healthcare clients. With our extensive background in healthcare development on a national scale, we can provide our customers with the big company experience and knowledge along with the attention and responsiveness of a smaller, more nimble and well capitalized real estate partner.
